Senior Litigation Lawyer

ME Law Professional Corporation is a Toronto-based litigation firm specializing in estate, real estate, and corporate/commercial disputes. Our practice focuses on complex civil litigation matters.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Lawyer to join our growing practice. This role is suited for a lawyer with strong civil litigation experience who is comfortable managing complex matters, supervising junior lawyers, and contributing to the continued development of the firm’s litigation practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex civil litigation files from commencement through resolution
- Provide strategic guidance on litigation matters and case strategy
- Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate associate lawyers
- Review pleadings, motions, and other litigation materials prepared by associates
- Represent clients in motions, hearings, and court proceedings
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on litigation matters
- Collaborate with firm leadership on practice development and client service initiatives
Qualifications
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- 5–10+ years of civil litigation experience at a law firm
- Strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Ontario court processes
- Experience managing complex litigation files and supervising junior lawyers
- Strong advocacy, drafting, and analytical skills
- Experience in real estate, estate, or corporate/commercial litigation is considered an asset.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $120,000 – $200,000, depending on experience
